We have received inquiries regarding the use of the Voting Paper at the General Assembly meeting of the Riffa Views Owners Association, and in this regard, we would like to clarify the following:
- The Voting Paper counts towards the quorum of the General Assembly, where you can participate via the Voting Paper as well as attend the meeting and participate in the discussions.
- The Voting Paper does not contain the election of Association Board members, as the regulations require the election to take place during the General Assembly meeting scheduled for April 20, 2024, at 10:00 am at Riffa Views International School.
Please be aware of the following:
- Each written resolution must be marked with a yes or no on the voting paper.
- The voting paper must be filled out completely and signed by the member.
- If the unit is owned by more than one person (joint ownership), then all unit homeowners must sign the voting paper, or attach a copy of a notarized power of attorney (approved by the Ministry of Justice) to one of the homeowners.
- If the unit is owned by a company or establishment, the stamp and signatures of the authorized persons must be placed on the voting paper, and a document indicating the authorization must be attached.
- In all cases, the voting paper must be witnessed by an adult. Copies of the identity cards (CPR) or passports of both the member and the witness must be attached.
- The Voting Paper must be submitted to the Association prior to the scheduled General Assembly meeting via email or sent to this address (House 2591, Road 4322, Block 943, Riffa Views - Park Estate).
