We are pleased to announce that registration for the Chess Academy at Riffa Views International School (RVIS) is now open for ages 6 to 18. Starting Tuesday, February 4th, the academy will meet every Tuesday from 3:10 PM to 4:10 PM. This program offers a fantastic opportunity for participants to enhance their chess skills under the guidance of Mr. Zeyad Janahi, a FIDE Chess Master and certified chess coach. As part of our ongoing efforts to improve and develop the infrastructure at Riffa Views, and in accordance with the new requirements set by the Electricity & Water Authority (EWA) regarding the installation of new water meters Please be informed that the current water meter system will be replaced with a new system where meter boxes will be installed vertically on the external wall of each unit. This system will enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the meter readings. A contractor has been appointed to begin implementing this project in phases, with each box installation expected to take about 3 hours. We appreciate your cooperation in this regard. Please be informed that the RVOA Board of Directors during its meeting no. 1/3/2025 held on January 8, 2025, has reviewed the Association’s budget, and agreed service charge rate of BD3.500 per square meter, which will be an agenda item during the General Assembly meeting that will be held during May 2025. The Association Manager will issue invoices for the first quarter 2025. We are pleased to inform you that homeowners can benefit from a 5% discount if they wish to pay the full year service in advance on or before January 31, 2025. This discount applies only to cash payments, cheques, or bank transfers.

RVIS will provide free trial sessions throughout December 2024. As we prepare for the upcoming rainy season, we kindly remind you to check all your rainwater outlets and waterproofing systems to ensure they are in good working order. In addition, we have proposed a few schemes to modify the balcony drainage in B-type villas (5-bedroom) to improve efficiency and prevent blockages.
