Riffa Views Owners Association (RVOA) celebrated Tree Week 2026 for the third consecutive year by organizing a community event at the Main Oasis Garden, with enthusiastic participation from Riffa Views residents, their families, and children, in collaboration with the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture and the Southern Municipality. The event was attended by Engineer Issa Abdulrahman Al-Buainain, Director General of the Southern Municipality , along with representatives of the relevant authorities and residents, who joined in planting trees in a family-friendly atmosphere that reflected the spirit of cooperation, community responsibility, and a shared commitment to environmental preservation. The initiative is part of RVOA's ongoing efforts to promote environmental sustainability and expand green coverage. During October, Riffa Views management successfully planted approximately 500 trees across various communal gardens and common areas, in addition to 100 trees planted by residents during the Tree Week event , including several palm trees. The Association also has ongoing plans to plant additional trees throughout the current planting season. On this occasion, ‏Mishal Alhellow, Chairman of the Riffa Views Owners Association Board of Directors , expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture and the Southern Municipality for their valuable support and cooperation in making the event a success. He also appreciated the participation of the Director General of the Southern Municipality and his commitment to supporting environmental and community initiatives. Alhellow stated that the Association will continue its efforts to expand green spaces throughout Riffa Views and introduce further initiatives that encourage a culture of tree planting and environmental responsibility among future generations. He also emphasized the importance of the national Tree Week initiative in raising environmental awareness, promoting community responsibility, expanding green spaces, and preserving the environment for generations to come. Through organizing this annual event, RVOA remains committed to engaging residents in environmental initiatives, raising awareness of the importance of tree planting and preserving green spaces, and instilling environmental responsibility in children and future generations, contributing to a greener and more sustainable residential community.
