We have received several inquiries related to cut or remove trees that may cause their leaves to fall within the boundaries of the units. The Board of Directors of the Association would like to inform all residents that the RVOA By-Laws has stipulated "it is prohibited to cut or damage trees planted in Common Areas in any circumstance", unless a report is issued by the Association Manager confirming that irreparable damage has occurred as a result of a tree or a planted area.

The Board affirms that no person may cut down, fell, mark, injure, remove, or destroy a tree or any other plant or part thereof within the Common Areas and no person may plant a tree or any large plant within the Common Areas (including, for the avoidance of doubt) on the pavement or street immediately abutting their unit.

The Board of the Association has made outstanding efforts since 2019 in increasing the green area of the community, following the initiative launched by HH the Crown prince “Forever Green” for the positive impacts that trees provide in reducing greenhouse effect, CO2 emissions and help in enhancing the appearance of the community.
