You might have noticed that we have been reminding you of the Pet’s rules and regulations due to continuous complaints and violation from residents.

Walkways and communal gardens are full of dog’s droppings. Many residents cannot sleep at night due to continuous dogs barking from their neighbors.

Some dogs in the community are aggressive and risk of having an attack is high.

Therefore, management has decided to start enforcing the rules and start imposing fines with immediate effect.

We kindly request dog owners to consider giving the below mentioned points some attention and instruct your housemaids or drivers who walk the dog to make sure they remove dog waste while walking them.

By-Law 3.7 Administrative and Financial Measures

During the General Assembly meeting held on April 24, 2021, the RVOA has agreed the following administrative and financial measures:

Pet Violations:



1. Failure to remove pet waste from common areas/Financial penalty = BD 100
2. Failure to ensure that pets remain in unit premises at all times / Financial penalty = BD 50
3. Failure to place a warning sign on the unit’s fence indicating the presence of a domestic pet / Financial penalty = BD 25
4. Leaving domestic pets (dogs) without a leash / Financial penalty = BD 25
5. Allowing domestic pets to cause excessive noise, disturbance, or harm to others / Financial penalty = BD 25
