With reference to the heavy rains that have been falling on the Kingdom of Bahrain since yesterday evening and the high-speed winds that have reached 53 knots.

We draw your attention to the fact that this has caused significant damage due to the flow of rainwater from Street 96 (located outside of Riffa Views), which resulted in the flow of large quantities of rainwater accompanied by silt into the Lagoon area due to the lack of rainwater drainage network on Street 96.

In addition, rainwater from Awali area flowed towards the Park Gate along the Riffa Views fence.

The precautionary measures taken by the Riffa Views in cooperation with the service providers helped to minimize the damage.

Riffa Views management has been in contact with officials of the concerned ministries and relevant authorities to find sustainable solutions to prevent the flow of rainwater from outside Riffa Views.

The Meteorological Department of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has confirmed the monitoring of rain clouds coming from the North and West, and it is expected that the Kingdom will be affected by rain of varying intensity and thunderstorms, sometimes accompanied by high-speed gusts.
