Board Meeting no. (7/2020) on February 16, 2020

The Board of Directors held its meeting no. (7) for the year 2020 on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 6:00 pm at the headquarters of the Riffa Views Company, and issued its decisions according to the items below:

1- Tender for the provision of security services in Riffa Views

The Board agreed to award a tender for the provision of security services in Riffa Views to “Security Solutions” for a period of two years.

2- Cleaning services tender & garbage collection tender

The Board agreed to award the cleaning services tender and the garbage collection tender to “Urbaser” and merged them into one tender.

3- Service fee for the units owned by RE Properties SPC which are 164 units

The Board reviewed the method of calculating the Annual Subscriptions (Service Charge) for the units owned by RE Properties SPC, which are the remaining units under construction within the Riffa Views project in the Park estate, and the Board emphasized the necessity for all homeowners, whether individuals or institutions, to comply with the payment of their shares of service charge as approved Article (67) of Law No. (27) of 2017 with respect to promulgating the Real Estate Sector Regulation Law, and Article (13) of Resolution No. (7) of 2018 regulating Owners Associations and Joint Properties issued by the RERA.

4- Decisions and subjects follow-up table

The Board agreed to send a letter to RERA to expedite the completion of the registration procedures for the Riffa Views Owners Association and the adoption of the By-Laws that was approved in the General Assembly meeting held on 7 December 2019.

The meeting concluded at 7:30 pm, and the next meeting was scheduled to take place on Sunday 1 March 2020 at 6:00 pm at the Riffa Views headquarters.
