The General Assembly Meeting of the RVOA on April 17, 2021

The meeting of the General Assembly of Riffa Views Owners Association commenced at 8:30pm on Saturday 17th April 2021, and it was a virtual meeting held via Zoom application. After one hour of meeting time, quorum not achieved.

At 09:30pm, Dr. Mazin Mohammed Jumaah, RVOA Board of Directors Chairman addressed the attendees, in the presence of a panel comprising:

2. Abdulhameed Ahmed Juma, RVOA Secretary
3. Abdulla Ahmed Kamal, RVOA Treasurer
4. Reem Ahmed Akbari, RVOA Board Member
5. Yasser Abdulrahman Alraee, Representative of the Association Manager
6. Waleed Abdulwahab Alqasimi, Representative of the Association Manager
7. Lawyer / Bushra Al Mayouf, Legal observers
8. Lawyer/ Hanan Al Aradi, Legal observers

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Distinguished Audience,

We express our thanks and appreciation to all homeowners who attended in this meeting. The quorum to hold the General Assembly of the Riffa Views Owners Association requires participation of 50% of unit owners (527). Now and after one hour of the scheduled time of the General Assembly, attendance is as follows:

• Personal attendance (members) via Zoom: (53) members participated, owning (59) units, of which (29) units submitted voting papers.
• Personal attendance (proxy) via Zoom: (1) member owns (1) unit.
• Participants via voting papers: (214) members who own (333) units.

The total was 364 units, (34.53%) of the 1054 units in Riffa Views.

In accordance with the provisions and articles of Law No. (27) of 2017 with respect to promulgating the Real Estate Sector Regulation Law and Resolution No. (1) of 2020 regulating owners associations and joint properties, issued by the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), if a quorum is not achieved within 60 minutes from start of the meeting, the meeting will be adjourned and reconvened after seven days at the same time and place, and the meeting will proceed regardless of the number of owners participating.

Therefore, we invite you to participate in the next meeting scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 8:30 pm."

There being no other business, the meeting ended at 9:37 pm.
