70 students from the Riffa Views International School (RVIS)’s kindergarten and first academic stages participated in planting trees at a new garden in the Parks Estate at the Riffa Views.
The event is part of the main activities carried out by the RVIS’ management in cooperation with Riffa Views to instill the concepts of preserving the environment, caring for plants and not tampering with them in the minds of youngsters, in addition to educating them about planting ways, and mechanisms to care for plants and irrigating them.
On this occasion, Managing Director of the RV Real Estate (RVOA Manager), Yasser Abdulrahman Al-Raee, said that the company’s management allocated part of its agricultural plans to achieve development goals that would support the goals of preserving the environment and planting areas and gardens.
He added that the garden in which students had planted trees was the most recent to be completed in The Parks Estate, which is distinguished by its gardens that spread across all residential areas, and include the housing units’ pathways, as well as front and back views.
Al-Raee indicated that the Riffa Views is keen on holding such events that affirm the great role played by the company and its management to support the development initiatives witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the agricultural field.
He added that the Riffa Views is the only golf residential complex in the kingdom, and the largest in Bahrain in terms of the size of its green spaces that make up more than 60% of its total area, including green places, parks, and green golf courses spreading across The Lagoon and The Oasis estates.
On her part, RVIS Superintendent, Tara Waudby, stressed the great importance attached by the RVIS’ management to holding agricultural events aimed at spreading agricultural awareness, and educating students on the importance of increasing green spaces to preserve the environment and its resources.
She asserted that the RVIS students participate massively in such periodic agricultural events, which proves that the school’s agricultural goals have been achieved.
She commended the Riffa Views’ management’s efforts and close cooperation with the RVIS’ management to hold such continuous events.
